I am a SLAM algorithm engineer in HIKVISION. Before that I received my master degree in the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University, China, in Jul. 2018 supervised by Prof. Jin. From May 2017 to Sep 2017, I worked as a research intern in SenseTime mentored by Dr. Wenxiu Sun. I received my B.E. degree from the Department of Automation, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Chongqing, China in 2015. From Jul. 2015, I was working with my master advisor Prof. Xin Jin on light field depth estimation in both Broadband Network & Digital Media Lab and Shenzhen Key Lab of Broadband Network and Multimedia, Tsinghua University.
Experience
Responsible for developing and implementing Web APIs in .NET for new features in ERP systems designed for the lumber industry, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality standards through collaboration with cross-functional teams and thorough testing.
Web development, specializing in creating impactful websites for human rights advocacy in Africa using React, Express.Js, and AWS. Helped design and create a good UX/UI experience for an e-commerce website. Collaborated in the creation of Frontend components using React and Tailwind CSS. Developed server endpoints using ExpressJs, Prisma ORM, and PostgreSQL database.
Monitored and analyzed Linux and Windows production servers, coordinating the dispatch of field service technicians. Addressed both software and hardware-related issues professionally with both internal and external customers. Recognized, researched, isolated, and resolved arising issues, escalating complex problems when necessary. Logged calls, maintained history records, and managed problem documentation. Ensured meticulous attention to detail in communication and system monitoring.
Created a Python web scraper, boosting curriculum analysis efficiency by 10x. Specialized in troubleshooting BYU's semester planning software, contributing to enhanced system performance and student user experience. Collaborated closely with Technical Support and Development teams, ensuring accurate and efficient reporting of system bugs.
